I think I got lucky in that I caught Mike (the owner) wrapping up a job in South Charlotte. He agreed to come right away to replace my PRV for my water pressure. I was at 140 PSI, and I was quite concerned. He fixed it right away and the price was more than reasonable. He then, since he was on site, diagnosed and fixed a leak in my system which probably was generated by my high pressure. The BEST RESPONSE AND SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. He is fair, intelligent, and truthful. He is forever more MY PLUMBER. I hope you give him at try. He and his team work on EVERYTHING in the way of plumbing, sewers, etc. at a fair and reasonable rate. Tell him I referred you, because I promised I would. We were in need of a toilet repair that was beyond our expertise. I found MKB Plumbing on Angie's List. They were the first to respond to my request for service. To my surprise they said someone could be out in the next hour or so. It was not an emergency situation, but given everything going on in the world, I was happy to have such a timely response. Harry, our technician, was courteous, on time and respectful. He not only fixed the main problem but fixed the minor issues with the toilet also. While at our house, I got him to do some other small projects that we had been procrastinating on like switching out a showerhead that was too hard to remove. I thought the pricing was fair for the amount of time and projects involved. I will definitely have MKB Plumbing on speed dial for our next plumbing needs.

Chuck came out to my house to install a new bathroom sink and toilet, but we had to reschedule because we had to install the new vanity first. He didn't charge for the first visit, which I was thankful for. He came back the next day after we had installed the vanity, and he did a wonderful job installing the sink and toilet in 45 minutes. This company was very friendly and easy to work with, and the service charge was reasonable. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

The PRV I had installed was a cheap brand and it failed. Mike put a Watts brand in which has a better chance of lasting longer. My preferred is a Zurn brand, but they are hard to find due to the supply shortage of a lot of things (trucks not running, etc.). My pressure actually was high (140), but the new PRV fixed it. Thanks again.
